Originally from France but now a long-time resident of Barcelona, the classically trained DJ/Selector and producer Cat Gabal is the co-founder of the international audiovisual platform and record label Openthenext.org. She's also a part of the OMBRA festival organization crew and hosts the 'Openthenext' radio show on Dublab (ES) along with the 'Mosaico' monthly show on Noods Radio, Bristol (UK) Her sets cover a broad spectrum of electronic music, providing a Downtempo, Slow Rave, or #neodancefloor alternative for dancers seeking more sophisticated grooves. Cat Gabal draws influence from the minimal synth/analogue electronic music scene of the 80s and 90s, as well as the rhythmic world music, nu disco, and everything in between.

Through her sets, she takes listeners on a journey spanning acid, electro, trance, with heavy basslines and breaks often blended with shamanic synthesizers or instrumental sounds from around the globe. Over the years, she's performed in countless alternative venues and clubs mainly in Spain, France, and Northern Europe, including renowned international festivals like Gamma Festival (Rusia), Sonar, Primavera Sound (Spain), and Norberg Festival (Suecia).
